Gitesi Coffee was founded by Alexis Gahizi and is now led by his son, Aimé, who has taken
over the main operations of the washing station. Over the years, the company has grown
beyond coffee production, becoming a vital supporter of its local community.
All of Gitesi’s employees and partner farmers are neighbors to the washing station, fostering
a strong sense of collaboration. The company actively works with the community by
providing training in financial literacy and cultivating alternative crops to sustain incomes
during the off-season.
